Commander retd. Sebastian Kalitowski, joined the Polish Navy in 1988. Graduated from the Military Naval Academy at the Navigation and Warship Armoury Department, and also from the University of Social Psychology in Warsaw. He served in the Navy as a combat diver and a commander of the special combat diver unit in a legendary “Formoza” unit. A participant in a stability mission in Kosovo. He spent 1.5 years in the Balkans, realizing the tasks connected with counter-terrorism and fighting international organized crime. In 1998 he underwent FBI training in crisis negotation at a special GROM unit. His interests are connected with the tactics of anti-terrorist actions at sea and the security and protection of ships and port facilities, as well as psychological aspects of terrorism. A lecturer at the University of Szczecin. A yacht and motorboat captain, hand-to-hand combat instructor and paratrooper.
